Lauren started dance, singing and acting at the age of three and made her professional debut in BBC television programme Grange Hill. She then went on to complete her LAMDA Gold Drama examinations and, after beating fierce competition, was incredibly lucky to be awarded a full drama scholarship to complete a BA Honours Degree in Acting at Mountview Theatre Academy.

 Since graduating, Lauren has professionally performed and coached in theatre, TV, radio, pop and film productions.

She has also coached drama, speech and self development courses for children and adults in many big corporate companies.

As her career progressed, she soon realised her real passion lay in teaching and children’s education. For the past 20 years, whilst building Little Acorns Theatre Academy, Lauren has taught in leading stage schools and drama colleges throughout London and held specialist drama workshops in Cambridge university. She has also coached LAMDA examination classes in various different secondary and primary schools in Hertfordshire and Middlesex focusing on one to one extensive drama/speech therapy, LAMDA and assessment preparation for private sector schools ranging from students age 3 to adults.

Most recently, she worked as the head children’s acting coach for the BBC film cognition staring 9 Little Acorns children. She was also an acting coach at the West End Matilda School
